About Count Down Radio
Count Down Radio is a unique and highly engaging internet broadcast operating directly out of Potomac, Maryland. While some automated directories mistakenly linked its location to New Windsor, New York—likely confusing it with similar regional oldies stations—this dedicated digital platform proudly serves a global audience from Maryland. The station offers a highly specialized oldies format that is completely different from standard classic rock playlists. Instead of playing generic mixes, it focuses entirely on broadcasting classic year-end Top 100-style countdowns in high-quality stereo, running continuously 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Ultimate Retro Countdown Experience
What truly makes this station a hidden gem is its unwavering dedication to preserving musical history. Listeners who tune into the stream are immediately transported back in time through carefully curated year-end countdowns spanning from 1955 and 1956 all the way through 1987 and 1989. Rather than just shuffling old records from legendary bands, the platform faithfully recreates the excitement of classic radio chart countdowns. This continuous rotation of authentic retro hit lists ensures that every single hour brings a fresh wave of nostalgia for vintage music lovers, keeping the audience engaged and eager to hear what classic hit comes next.
High-Quality Stereo Streaming Online
Delivering an exceptional digital listening experience, the network broadcasts all of its classic Top 100 countdowns in crisp, clear stereo sound.
