About BeGoodRadio - 80s New Wave
BeGoodRadio - 80s New Wave is a highly popular online streaming station broadcasting directly from Bothell (and the neighboring Bellevue area) in Washington State. Operating as a focused, independent digital channel rather than a massive corporate radio chain, it serves as the ultimate destination for fans who genuinely miss the iconic sound of synthesizers and skinny ties. This dedicated network brings back the true essence of the early 1980s, expertly mixing raw punk energy with undeniably catchy pop hooks to deliver a continuous stream of classic new wave, post-punk, and early alternative music to a global audience.
A Curated Playlist of 80s Classics
Listeners who tune into this Washington-based stream are immediately transported back to a fresh and wonderful era of musical innovation. The station's carefully curated playlist leans heavily on essential classic tracks, regularly featuring legendary artists such as The Cure, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Talking Heads, Blondie, The Cars, New Order, and The Smiths. In addition to these massive icons, the rotation also includes defining hits from the era like Blondie's "Heart of Glass," The Human League's "Don't You Want Me," and Freur's "Doot Doot".
